1. Panama City Beach Marathon

When: Saturday, December 3rd

Full Marathon Starts at 7:00 AM

Half Marathon Starts at 7:30 AM

5K Race Starts at 8:00 AM

Kids Fun Run Starts at 9:30 AM

Where: Pier Park

The Start and Finish Line is located north of Margaritaville on Pier Park Drive.  

Are you a runner? What better place, than the beach, to take part in a race before all the Christmas parties and delicious food. The Panama City Beach Marathon is offering the traditional 26.2 mile race in which runners with qualifying times will be eligible for the Boston Marathon. 

If 26.2 miles sounds a little daunting, don’t worry, this race also offers a half-marathon, 5k, and Kid’s Fun Run. Get the whole family involved with a morning of fun physical activity! Click here for more information and registration.

2. Breakfast with Santa at Dave & Buster’s

When: Saturday, December 3rd 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM

Where: Dave & Buster’s in Pier Park

Take your family over to the center of Pier Park, across from the iconic beach ball to Dave & Buster’s. Santa is making a special visit to have breakfast with all the good girls and boys. There are two packages available, check them out here and register to get your tickets.

3. Panama City Christmas Parade

When: Saturday, December 3rd 7:00 PM

Where: Starts at The Marina Civic Center in Downtown

The Panama City Christmas Parade, hosted by Jaycees, is a PC tradition. If you’re in the area, you’ll want to join the crowd and line Harrison Avenue to watch the floats go by during the “Very Vintage Christmas” Parade. For more information, click here.

4. South Walton Elf Ride

When: Sunday, December 4th 1:00 - 2:30 PM

Where:  Van Ness Butler Jr. Beach Access in Watercolor

Get ready to be Santa's helpers for the 9th annual gift drive. Please bring one unwrapped gift to donate to the Angel Tree Program. For more information click here.

5. Panama City Beach Christmas Tree Lighting 

When: Monday, December 5th 6:30 - 8:00 PM

Where: Frank Brown Park on Back Beach Road

Who is ready for some Christmas cheer? Join the City of Panama City Beach and Mayor Thomas for an evening of celebration, at the 37th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting. Word on the street is Santa will be attending, so bring your Christmas wish list! While this is a free event, put on by local schools, churches, and civic groups, unwrapped toys will be accepted as donations to help support the PCB Police Department Cops N’ Kids. 6. Boat Parade of Lights

When: Saturday, December 10th 4:00 - 10:00 PM (Rain Date: December 11th)

Where: Panama City Marina and St. Andrews Marina

"Christmas Boat Parade of the South." Get ready for the 30th Annual Christmas Boat Parade of Lights. The Boat Parade of Lights is a city wide parade that began in 1986, this parade adds a little nautical twist to a Christmas favorite. This event will be taking toy donations for Toys for Tots, there will be designated boat drop offs at both marinas. For more information, click here.

7. Christmas Parade at Pier Park

When: Saturday, December 10th 5:00 PM

Where: Starts and finishes at Walmart in Pier Park

Finish up your Christmas shopping at Pier Park and then spread the Christmas cheer at the Panama City Beach Christmas parade! For more information and route details, click here.

8. Mail Your Letters to Santa

When: Through Friday, December 16th

Where: Fonville Press in Alys Beach

Bring your Christmas wish list to mail to Santa! Fonville Press has a magical mailbox to get the letters to Santa in time for Christmas Eve - make sure to get your letters in by the 16th! Don’t forget to include your mailing address so Santa and his elves can send you a response. For more information, click here.

9. Hydrobike Christmas, Cocoa, Campfire & Carol

When: Saturday, December 17th 3:30 - 8:00 PM

Where: Tom’s Landing in Santa Rosa Beach

Have you ever been hydrobiking? Seriously, check it out. This Holiday Hydrobike event is one you will not want to miss out on, bring the whole family...you may just start a new Christmas tradition!

10. Broadway Christmas Wonderland

When: Monday, December 19th 7:30 PM

Where: Marina Civic Center in Downtown Panama City

The Marina Civic Center is bringing Broadway to Panama City, get ready for a “sparkling holiday show” that’s fun for the whole family! For more information and tickets click here.

11. Gingerbread Tea

When: Thursday, December 22nd 1:00 - 3:00 PM

Where: The Pearl Ballroom in Rosemary Beach

The Pearl is hosting an afternoon tea, doesn’t that sound delightful? You’re not truly in the Christmas spirit until you have made at least one gingerbread house, bring the kids to decorate their own after tea. Click here to make your reservation.


12. Moscow Ballet Nutcracker

When: Saturday, December 24th 2:00 PM

Where: Marina Civic Center in Downtown Panama City

The Nutcracker is another Christmas Classic, and the Moscow Ballet has perfected it to a T. Don't miss the "biggest Christmas experience of the year!" For tickets and more information, click here.

13. “Twas the Night Before Christmas” Dinner 

When: Saturday, December 24th 4:00 - 9:00 PM

Where: Havana Beach Bar & Grill in Rosemary Beach

Enjoy a three-course meal at Havana Beach Bar & Grill. After dinner, kids can decorate cookies while mom and dad enjoy some "adult" hot cocoa.

14. Holiday Champagne Tasting

When: Wednesday, December 28th 5:00 - 7:00 PM

Where: NEAT in Alys Beach

15. Holiday Movie - The Santa Clause

16. Salute

17. New Year’s Eve Ball Drop

When: Saturday, December 31st  8:00 PM

Where: Beach Ball in Pier Park

If you’re an early-to-bed kind of person, don’t miss out on all the fun, Pier Park will be dropping over 10,000 inflated beach balls at 8:00, which will then be followed by fireworks to celebrate 2016.
